Thanksgiving week was a hit!  There was a big plant this week and we also started our farmed trout program for the year. If you are trolling for trout the Rapala lure is the hit and if you are shore fishing the powerbait works the best!

  Jaylin caught her first trout at Collins Lake a 3 lb trout using rainbow powerbait by the beach.  Unterholzner family caught 4 trout using Rapalas and powerbait by the marina.  Joshua Yang caught 6 lb. trout using Kastmaster lure by the dam.  Dustin, Jack & Jeremy caught 3 trout using green powerbait by the dam.  Jodi Haugen caught a 5 1/2 lb trout in the cove using orange powerbait.  Gina Moyer caught a 5 1/4 lb trout and a 4 1/2 lb trout by the boat launch ramp using worms. Hue, Ricky & Genesis caught a 5 1/2 lb trout a total of 15 trout all together. Tommy Sturgis caught a 2 1/2 lb trout using Kastmaster lure.  Martin Luna caught 5 trout using orange powerbait shore fishing by the dam. Sean Marin caught a trout fishing in his kayak in the middle of lake.  Andy, Skipp & Max caught 2 limits of trout using rainbow powerbait by the launch ramp.  Greg Lyan caught a large 18 3/4 lb catfish by the beach using worms.  Jessco & Joseph Green caught a limit of trout using powerbait trolling by the dam.  Johnny & Barbara Grizzle caught a 4.9 lb trout and a 3.09lb trout by site #68 using pink powerbait.  Elsa Seino caught a 4 1/2 lb trout using powerbait by the dam.  Jeff Neels caught 4 trout using yellow powerbait by the marina. Jose Enriquez caught 4 trout using yellow powerbait by the marina.  Brayden Hernandez caught a nice trout fishing by the beach. Hilda De Leon caught 4 lb. trout using powerbait by the bridge.  Mike Cothern caught a 5 3/4 lb & 6 1/2 lb trout using Rapalas trolling middle of lake.  Anthony, Jr. & Greg caught 2 limits of trout using powerbait by the dam.  Frankie & Angel caught 4 1/4 lb trout using yellow powerbait by the dam.  Colby Grew caught a 2 1/4 lb trout using powerbait by the dam.  Muaj Her caught 3 trout using orange powerbait by the bridge.  Kenny Kytan caught a 4 1/2 lb trout using green powerbait by the dam.  John & Cheryl caught 3 spotted bass by the power lines. The Sannar Family caught 25 trout all together down by the dam using orange powerbait.  Jovie Henry caught a bass using worms by the dam, this was his first fish!  Tanner caught 1 trout by the bridge using powerbait and worms together.  Cheryl caught 4 trout floating minnows in the coves.
