Directions from Reno & Lake Tahoe Area Driving time From Reno: (approx. 2.5 hrs) From Truckee (approx 1.75 hrs) Go west on I-80 towards Sacramento About 20 miles past Donner summit, watch for the Highway 20 exit Exit Highway 20 west towards Nevada City & Grass Valley In Grass Valley, you will want to continue west on Highway 20, but this will require an exit from the main highway. Therefore, watch for the Highway 20 exit towards Marysville. Continue west on Highway 20 for approx. 20 miles, look for the Marysville Rd. (Rd E-21) turn off Turn right on to Marysville Rd. at the Browns Valley One Stop Chevron Station Follow Marysville Rd. for 10 miles to the entrance of Collins Lake Turn right at the entrance and go approx. 1/3 mile to the entry station back to top

Directions from Oroville & Towns Further North Driving time from Oroville: (approx. 30 minutes) From Highway 70, exit east on Oro Dam Blvd. in Oroville Continue through Oroville and go right on Olive Highway (Highway 162) Go approx. 5 miles to the Lakeside Market and turn right on Miners Ranch Rd Go approx. 3 miles and turn left on Oro Bangor Highway. (Caution, this road is easy to miss. Watch for a small sign that says to turn left to Bangor just before the intersection) Oro Bangor Highway becomes Los Verjeles Rd. at the intersection in Bangor Continue straight on Los Verjeles Rd. until it ends at Loma Rica Rd. Turn left Go approx. 2 miles and turn left onto Marysville Rd. Go 1 mile and turn right at the Collins Lake entrance. Continue approx. 1/3 mile to the entry station. back to top
