Winter Fun! Even with the cold weather and rain we still had some die hard fishermen and women out there trying hard to catch the big one!! We did have a trophy fish plant last Saturday 1/20/18. Sometime in the afternoon.  We also had a fishing derby on January 20th thru the NorCal Fish Whispers. There was over 80 entries and 24 fish caught!   Jeremy Monks was the winner!! He caught a nice big  71/4 lb trout using green power eggs.  The next trophy plant will be the middle of February.

Danny Myles of Roseville caught a 4 lb. trout in the middle of the lake using worms.  Tom & Jenna caught 9 trout trolling with worms in the middle of the lake.  Elaine of Browns Valley caught a nice trout using orange powerbait down by the dam.  Jay Ratra had a good catch trolling with Rapala down by the dam too.  Michelle Garibaldi of Palermo caught a nice 5 lb trout down by the beach using powerbait.  Mike Hopkins of Auburn caught a nice 6 3/4 lb trout down by the dam using powerbait.  Calix, Aaliyah and Davinci 0f Palermo caught some nice size trout using powerbait. Matt & Brittany Smiley caught a nice big 5.8 lb trout trolling in the middle of the lake.
