Summer trout catches have been at a peak this year, the weather hasn’t changed, it’s still HOT but the trout don’t seem to care as most of the catches this week were from shore on PowerBait.  One boater trolled down 35′  with orange PowerBait and another troller used garlic PowerBait.

The biggest trout caught this week by Fabian & Marco from Windsor, Ca. was in the cove at the other side of the dam on orange PowerBait and it weighed in at 4 lb. 12 oz.  They had a huge stringer of trout as well…..

Ken & Craig Zschach of Rohnert Park caught trout everyday of their camp trip, using PowerBait by the dam.

Dave Zaski sent us an i phone pic of his channel cat he caught on anchovies then let it go back into the water!  Dave said he caught 6 Cats total, in the middle of the day.

Sam Briefman hooked the biggest CAT this week, an 8 lb. 8 oz. whopper on a Thomas Jig in his boat.  Lada & Jennrick of Hercules, Ca. netted a 5 pound CAT near the bridge and they used chicken livers for bait

Tyy, Drew, & Brad caught a total of 13 trout just sitting off the bank by the dam floating PowerBait off the bottom.  Samuel Taiwan did the same thing and netted two trout.

We had a group of young men from Chico that trolled with orange PowerBait by the dam and caught many trout in a two day span.  Roman, RJ, Jordan & Eric brought up the biggest one for a photo, it weighed 2 lb. 4 oz.  Jonathan West caught his 1st fish ever, it was a Rainbow trout and he trolled with garlic PowerBait.  Gabe & RJ returned with another 6 trout, and they trolled that time also with orange PowerBait by the dam.
