1,300 pounds of Rainbows arrived Sat. 2/5

Our 1st private trout plant arrived last Saturday with 1,300 pounds in that load.  Half of them are considered “catchables” while the other half are trophy sized fish.  The biggest one caught that day was a 5 pounder by a large group of people from Forest Hill and from Lincoln.  They were John Lewis, and Danny, Ralph, & Samantha Posillas.  They used Kastmasters/and powerbait  and caught several, along with the 5 pounder was a 4 lb. 8 oz. Rainbow.

Before the plant arrived Don Wolfe of Penn Valley hooked a 3 lb. 8 oz. Rainbow while toplining with a Rapala.  David Bunting caught a beautiful 3 pound Rainbow using powerbait by the dam.

Dillon & Zack Parker of Marysville fished Elmer’s Cove and caught 3 Bass on worms.  Gaben Chapman of Live Oak used charteuse nuggets and landed a nice trout from the beach

Dana De Garmo caught her 1st fish EVER!! Along with her sister Danielle and her brother David Herrick they caught 3 nice trout from the beach on powerbait.

Joseph & Brandon Godfrey of Oroville caught 3 Rainbows from the beach while drop shotting with worms.  Justin King of Yuba City tossed a Kastmaster from shore and hooked his trophy Trout – a 3 lb. 12 oz. awesome Rainbow!!  Mike Patterson of Marysville caught a 3 lb. Rainbow from shore with a yellow/green flatfish.
