Almost all the catches this week were Catfish! Katie Freeman of Live Oak started the week off with her 2 Cats that weighed 4 lbs. & the other one was a 2 lb. 8 oz. Katie used live crawdads and chicken livers.  David Jamison of Yuba City used sardines for bait and fished near the dock and hooked a 9 lb. Catfish.  Richard Torres of Oroville also fished by the marina and landed a 3 lb. 4 oz. Cat.

Ryan & Mike of Lincoln topped their TROUT stringer with a 6 lb. caught by Mike.  They were trolling by the dam using Rapalas.  Kayla, Ian, & Sarah of Simi Valley were not leaving their week of camping without a fish and through their persistence they finally caught a Rainbow Trout by the dam.  Lucas & Jessica of Costa Mesa fished near the boat dock with nightcrawlers and hooked 2 Trout, the biggest one weighed in at a whopping 3 pounds.

Joe Fleenor of SAC used chicken livers by the main marina and caught 2 Cats, total weight 11 pounds! Jacob Xiong of SAC fished from a boat on the opposite side of our lake (east side) and caught three Cats on crawdads or chicken livers.

John Medeiros of Petaluma fished from a boat near the powerlines and hooked a 4 lb. 8 oz. Cat on a nightcrawler.  Pete Albini of Cotati finished the week of with a superb 12 lb. Cat also caught near the powerlines on worms.

The weather heated up a lot this past week but will be back in the 80’s by Sat.
